J.League Winning Eleven 8 Asia Championship, also known as K-League Winning Eleven 8 Asia Championship in South Korea, and World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 Asia Championship in China, was the first game on the Asia Championship series, an updated version of PES 4 that is developed and published by Konami. The game was released only on PlayStation 2.

Features[]
The game includes the Japanese J1 and J2 Leagues, and for the first time in the franchise, Korean K-League and the first and second divisions of China.
The game also features for the first time on the series the Nippon Challenge mode (Korea Challenge in the Korean Version), where you play as Japan (or Korea) and take them through the entire asian qualifiers of the International Cup and then attempt to win it. This game mode includes all asian national teams from the 2006 World Cup Qualifiers, but you can't choose them in any game mode.
